Bali is well known as the Island of the Gods. The landscape seems as beautiful as paradise. This island has the stretch of volcanic mountains, rivers, lakes, rice fields, and fantastic white sand in its beaches. This Gods Island is incredibly rich in natural resources, historical resources and cultural resources. It is completed with friendly people and nice climate and temperature for a whole year. It is a real paradise for travelling. The most famous tourist spots are in the south, around Sanur Beach and at Kuta Beach, which lies on the other side of a narrow peninsula.
The other spots are Nusa Dua and Denpasar. Nusa Dusa is a popular tourist area and completed with many resorts, hotels, and bars. The island has thousands of temples, such as the great ‘Holy Temple’ at Besakih and many temples as the places of worship. Those temples involve marvelous processions, dances and daily offerings of food and flowers for the gods. The next destination is Denpasar as the island’s capital. This town includes museums, art centers and a cultural conservatory called Konservatori Karawitan which functions as the major centers of Balinese dancing. A wonderful temple, called Pura Tanah Lot is a sea temple located on the west coast. It is one of the most fabulous sceneries in Bali. The other natural scenery is sacred monkey forest at Sangeh is a reserved forest which becomes the home of many varieties of exotic apes. There is also a temple in this forest. In an amazing area called Kintamani, keep the highest temple on the Bali island, it is Penulisan temple.
The next destination is the village of Ubud. It is the center of Bali’s art settlement and has many galleries of many talented painters. The other artistic centers are in Batubulan as the stone carving center, Celuk as the gold and silver work center and also Denpasar where the woodworking and painting are centered. Of course there are still many resorts in Bali that can be visited in the whole year. So just prove by your self by travelling there.
